The SPL1000 R is a superb compromise of powerful bass delivery and compact size. The additional driver surface area, cabinet volume and extended dual layer coil assembly builds substantially on the excellent performance of the diminutive SPL800 MK11. The performance increase allows the SPL1000 MK11 to achieve a frequency response of 24Hz to 120Hz (+/- 3dB).
The SPL1000 R features 3” dual layer voice coil, Class-D patented energy recovery digital amplifier, Kevlar reinforced drive unit and Velodyne’s exclusive “Dynamic Driver Control System” (DDCS) which is an active signal based system to control driver frequency and distortion characteristics.
